Raffles of Singapore seeks sponsors for its first UK production
This new musical is based on the life of Sir Stamford Raffles who founded Singapore in 1819 without permission and was financially broken by the East India Company for doing so.
It has been performed by professional West-End actors in Singapore and Hong Kong. Now it seeks sponsorship for its UK premiere by Henley Operatic in November, 2010.
The project has the support of: the Singapore High Commission, London,
the Singapore Business Group in the UK,
the Singapore Tourism Board,
the Singapore UK Association (SUKA).
